Thanks to all the mentors, family and friends that pushed us forward during this project.
The indigenous Rarámuri communities are suffering an increase in physical and sexual abuse of children and women, along with the devaluation of domestic activities since the pandemic.
The mission —
Create a genuine and effective message that will create an impact and reflection within this social group.
The outcome —
We created an animation that seeks to bring to light a real problem that exists in this community.
The impact —
The project has been accepted by the community and the distribution is pending.
Create a genuine and effective message that will create an impact and reflection within this social group. By putting light on certain patriarchal and macho customs, we seek to create a connection between the message and the victims, thus sparking discussion.
Research & Ideation
We addressed and evaluated the existing problems in the Rarámuri community and began to sketch different possible solutions that would help solve said problems. We explored different alternatives and did research that helped us to understand the context in a closer and more genuine way.
